Abstract
Background: The EML4-ALK fusion oncogene is found in 2 to 7% of all non-small cell lung cancers, most of which are adenocarcinomas. ALK positive lung malignancies are rare; even more rare are primary ALK positive lung malignancies that metastasize to the breast.
