Abstract
The spectral properties of a suite of lunar minerals, rocks, and soil are presented (0.3 to 25μm). The spectra include absorption features due to electronic transitions of ions within minerals as well as fundamental molecular modes of vibration of the crystal structure. The effects of space weathering are noted along with diagnostic properties that allow remote compositional analysis.
