Abstract
(La 1− x Ce x )Al 1.67+0.67 y (B 4O 10)O y is one of the compounds of RE–Al–B–O system (RE: rare-earth). There are no reports on luminescent property of activator-doped (La 1− x Ce x )Al 1.67+0.67 y (B 4O 10)O y . So we synthesized the solid solutions (La 1− x Ce x )Al 1.67+0.67 y (B 4O 10)O y , 0.01⩽ x⩽1.0 and characterized their emission properties.
