Abstract

The heterometallic β-dicarbonyl complexes of MLnL5⋅2H2O (M = Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II); Ln = Nd(III), Yb(III); L = mphpd (2-methyl-5-phenyl-1-penten-dione-3,5), alacac (allyl-3-oxobutanoate, allyl acetoacetate) were synthesized. Metallopolymers on their basis were obtained in two ways: by radical homopolymerization of heterometallic monomeric complexes and copolymerization of two monometallic complexes. The complexes were fully characterized using FTIR, elemental and thermal analyses. Absorption, diffuse reflectance and fluorescence emission spectra for the complexes were recorded. The relationship between complex structure and the intensity of fluorescence emission was established.
