Abstract

Radiation spectra of fresh and aged (under model conditions) Grade GK transformer oil in the 200-650-nm wavelength range at ambient temperatures are recorded, interpreted, and compared. The presence of small concentrations of anthracene and its derivatives in the specimens is confirmed. A linear relationship between radiation intensity and acid number is established.
