Abstract

AbstractCu6PS5X (X=I, Br) single crystals were grown using chemical vapour transport. The crystals under investigation were implanted at different fluences of 150‐keV 32S+ ions. The influence of ion implantation on luminescence spectra, parameters of the Urbach absorption edge as well as ordering‐disordering processes in Cu6PS5X superionic conductors is studied. A noticeable effect of isochronal annealing on the absorption edge in the ion‐implanted Cu6PS5I crystal is revealed. (© 2011 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
