Abstract

Luis Andrés Murillo Best Article of 2018:Stacey Triplette Bruce R. Burningham The Cervantes Society of America is delighted to announce the winner of the 2018 Luis Andrés Murillo Best Article of the Year award: Stacey Triplette's "Chivalry and the Female Reader in Part Two of Don Quijote," which appeared in the Spring 2018 issue of the journal. The anonymous jury for the 2018 selection consisted of three members of the journal's Editorial Board. These esteemed colleagues evaluated all the articles published in Cervantes during 2018 (not counting book reviews) and chose Triplette's essay as the year's winner. Due to the COVID pandemic, the CSA was unfortunately unable to recognize Triplette's accomplishment live and in person at one of the official meetings of the Society this year. (The Renaissance Society of America meeting, where we would normally celebrate the new Murillo Award winner, was cancelled completely). We still hope to be able to do so at some in-person CSA event in the not-too-distant future. But, in the meantime, a very hearty congratulations, Stacey!
