Abstract
 Learning motivation is an important aspect in improving student achievement. In this case, as a teacher has a major important role in fostering this motivation, one of which is through learning evaluation. The aim is to find out that the evaluation is able to significantly influence the motivation of students at MIS Hidayatul Muhajirin Palangka Raya. This study used a qualitative method based on interview results and supported by secondary data or from books and journals. The results of the research show that evaluation is able to have a significant influence because students inevitably have to learn to achieve the assessment that is planned and in accordance with what has been determined. This madrasah is facilitated by the head of the madrasah facility in the form of an LCD in class so that in learning that requires media it can be displayed directly in class so that it will affect students' learning motivation. The assessment was carried out regarding the cognitive aspects of C1-C4. In channeling student talents are also facilitated through extracurricular activities. Assisted by extracurricular coordinators equipped with audiovisual media according to needs. Each student activity related to the teaching and learning process includes the assessment of written tests or knowledge tests (cognitive) only at the end of dance learning, because there is no practice. Evaluation is carried out by adjusting the established process both from the principles and designs that have been determined. So it can be concluded that learning evaluation is a very important component in an educational institution, because it can affect students' learning motivation in learning.
