Abstract
A review of nuclear data for fast neutron activation analysis in different applications has been performed involving isotopic and accelerator induced neutron sources. This review concerns those nuclear data bases and specific handbooks and initiatives completed, underway or planned, according to the advice of the International Nuclear Data Committee in accordance to the international effort coordinated by the IAEA with particular regard to the standards. Specific discussion is devoted to nuclear data requirements for the purposes of the present topic. Main topics on nuclear data evaluation and the corresponding model calculations are reviewed with regard to the activities and results of the ENEA Nuclear Data Program.© (1995) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
