Abstract

ABSTRACT 69 patients with angina pectoris were treated by infra-red laser radiation. We have revealed that infra-red laser radiationreduces antithrombogenic activity of vessel endothelium. Keywords: infra-red laser radiation, angina pectoris, vessel endothelium. 1. INTRODUCTION The era of laser medicine started with the introduction of high-energy quantum generators of an optical range in surgery, followed by the therapeutic application of low-intensive laser radiation in various diseases. The most important effect oflow-intensive laser radiation (LILR) was obtained in cardiology, particularly in treatment of patients with coronary arterialdiseases (CAD). Dysfunction of vessel endothelium plays a great role in onset of CAD for it always accompanies theatherosclerosis3. The first reports on efficiency of laser therapy concerned the He-Ne laser. Infra-red laser radiation wasused in treatment later. The results were similar to the effects of He-Ne laser radiation2. The experimental and clinical
