Abstract
It is a new access control problem that how to protect individual privacy included by electronic records and ensure individual could control his privacy. Based on the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) model, the concept of electronic badge (E-badge) is introduced and E-Badge-Based Access Control (EB-RBAC) Model is proposed then a formal definition is defined. In the EB-RBAC model, person can set access policy of the privacy information. Users or roles obtain authority to operate the objects, only when access to an object is granted by the policies defined in its attached ebadges.
