Abstract

ABCTRACT The data alignment techniques for Radar /IIR dual-sensor integration in some dual-module homing seeker will been considered. When to choice of a earth-fixed coordinate system [OXYZ] for the dual-module missile seeker, three different coordinate reference system of the radar sensor has been established specially: a body coordinate system [O r X r Y r Z], radar antenna electronic boresight coordinate system [O r X rt Y rt Z rt ] and LOS(line-of-sight) coordinate system[O r X rs Y rs Z rs ]. similarly, another three coordinate reference systems of the IIR sensor has been defined: [O ir X ir Y ir Z ir ], [O irt X irt Y irt Z irt ], [O irs X irs Y irs Z irs ]. Furthermore, these angles o ry and o rz are obtined to project an angle o r which between body axis and radar antenna electronic boresight axis into the earth-fixed reference system, the other angles o iry and o irz are obtained to projecting o ir which between body axis and IIR LOS axis into the same reference system. using architecture alignment processed to made the coordinate system [O r X r Y r Z r ] identified with [O ir X ir Y ir Z ir ], but the [O irt X irt Y irt Z irt ] will been translated to [O rt X rt Y rt Z rt ], the conversation Euler angle e of translating matrix Z ir-r that is a small angle in errors accuracy rang. Then it is possible that a wide-FOV radar sensor is used to cue a narrow-FOV IIR sensor. Two main conclusions are stated in this paper. The data delignment techniques have been researched and applied in some works.
