<title>Adaptive finite element program for automatic modeling of thermal processes during laser-tissue interaction</title>

Abstract

The absence of satisfactory criteria for discrete model parameters choice during computer modeling of thermal processes of laser-biotissue interaction may be the premier sign for the accuracy of the numerical results obtained. The approach realizing the new concept of direct automatical adaptive grid construction is suggested. The intellectual program provides high calculation accuracy and is simple in practical usage so that a physician receives the ability to prescribe treatment without any assistance of a specialist in mathematical modeling.© (1994) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
