Abstract

The present paper reports recent sightings of Drupadia scaeva cyara (Hewitson, 1878) for the first time in Arunachal Pradesh. It was previously known from Darjeeling and Sikkim. This current record confirms its distribution from Arunachal Pradesh and adds a species record to the existing butterfly fauna of India after 83 years.
