Abstract

Flattened composite superconductors have an advantage of increased fill factor and improved turn's stability in the magnet winding. Therefore, flat multifilament NbTi, Nb3Sn, Bi-2223 and MgB 2 superconductors were measured in the external magnetic field of variable orientations. Critical current anisotropy dependences of these composite tapes are compared and discussed
