Abstract
During November 2023, the communities of Gandoca and Finca Tanagra were visited with the objective of generating a communitary diagnosis. The data obtained is mixed, interviews were conducted to community leaders and other citizens (N=94) for a total of 27 families. Data analysis was made using JASP 19 for descriptive information, and grounded theory for qualitative data. Results suggest that Gandoca is in a more advantageous situation in terms of access to health, education and infrastructure compared to Finca Tanagra. Nonetheless, it is observed that most people in both communities find themselves at a socioeconomic disadvantage due to poor access to health, education, work and road infrastructure.
