Abstract
Aponogeton nateshii, a recently described species from Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra and also recorded from Belagavi District of Karnataka is now reported from the state of Goa for the first time. This species is highly variable in habitat preference, leaf morphology and embryo appendages.
