Abstract
This study attempted to solve the two problems of Text criticism in Mojwukjirangka and Mayngadukanka. One is the problem to find missing letter and superfluous letter. The other is the problem to discover the cause that missing letter and superfluous letter are occurred and are linked together. The first problem could be solved by finding missing letter and superfluous letter through the consideration of Hyangchal’s principle, grammar and context in text of Mojwukjirangka and Mayngadukanka. Meanwhile, I attempted to solve the second problem in accordance with two step’s arguments. One is that preceding transcriber add missing letters(伊, 尸, 古) between lines in order to complement missing letters(伊 in 數就音伊, 尸 in 作乎尸下是 and 古 in 放古) in transcription. The other argument is that posterior transcriber misunderstand the location that preceding transcriber add between lines, as the wrong location of missing letters. Because this misunderstanding, missing letters(伊 in 數就音伊, 尸 in 作乎尸 下是 and 古 in 放古) and superfluous letters(伊 in 史伊衣, 尸 in 廻於尸七, 古 in 隱賜以古只) are happened and are linked together.
