Abstract

Steganalysis is used to detect the presence of secret message in a cover image. Weighted Stego (WS) image steganalysis is a reliable method to detect sequential embedding in a stego-image. It is used to estimate the hidden message length embedded using the Least Significant Bit (LSB) embedding at sequential pixel positions in digital images. This paper proposes series of upgraded Cover Pixel Predictor Components to be used in WS method. These predictors are designed to predict the value of boundary pixels and edge pixels, in such a way that they are closer to their original values. Experimental results show that the proposed predictors help WS method to provide better accuracy for the detection of sequentially-placed payload sizes.
