Abstract

Bi4Ti3O12/Ni0.37Cu0.20Zn0.43Fe1.92O3.88 (BTO/NiCuZn) composites were prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction method and sintered at 950°C, which meets the demand of low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology. The phase composition and surface morphology of the composites were investigated using XRD and SEM, respectively. The dielectric and magnetic properties of the composites were also investigated. The results show that the BTO/NiCuZn composites have giant dielectric constants and very high permeabilities in low frequency range. For the 40%BTO/60%NiCuZn composite, the dielectric constant and permeability in low frequency range are about 60,000 and 25, respectively. So the as-prepared composites are potential candidate materials for electromagnetic integrated chip elements.
