Abstract

Abstract Low-temperature SCR of NO by CeO 2 /ACFP and CeO 2 /ACFN catalysts was studied. The structure of catalyst prepared was characterized by SEM, BET and XRD methods. The experimental results showed that the surface modification of ACF by low-temperature oxygen plasma and nitric acid could both greatly improve the conversion of NO, but CeO 2 /ACFN showed better activities when compared to CeO 2 /ACFP catalyst. The optimum catalytic activity was observed under the reaction conditions of 180 °C and CeO 2 loading of 9 wt.%, the NO conversions were 86.01% and 93.96% which correspond to CeO 2 /ACFP and CeO 2 /ACFN catalysts respectively.
