Abstract

Low-stability states and structural changes in the region of phase transitions are investigated for the example of Cu3Au binary alloy. Thermoactivated structural transformations at the micro, nano, and macro levels are observed in Cu3Au alloy with deviation from the stoichiometric composition. In the vicinity of the structural-phase transformations in Cu3Au alloy with 75 at % Cu, low-stability states appear. Such states exhibit a whole spectrum of anomalous phenomena preparing the system for transformation.
