Abstract

This paper deals with an enhancement technique of signal integrity (SI). The technique is focused on the enhancement of typical EMC and EMI perturbations. The introduced enhancement technique is based on the equalization with low-pass negative group delay (NGD) function. For the didactical comprehension, the NGD equalization is applied to an RC-effect degradation. Based on the voltage transfer function (VTF) analysis, the synthesis expression of the NGD function parameters in function of the test signal and RC parasitic effect is formulated. The method feasibility is obviously illustrated with an example of 1 kbps rate square wave signals.
