Abstract

A study of the decay of 75Se has revealed the presence of γ-rays with energies of 821.7±0.2 keV and 469.4±1.0 keV, which are attributed to the de-excitation of 75As states previously reported at these energies. The γ-ray intensities (relative to I γ [265 keV] = 100) and the electron capture log ft values are: for the 821.7 keV state I γ = (2.16±0.10) × 10 −4, log ft = 9.5; and for the 469.4 keV state I γ = (5.4±1.8) × 10 −4, log f′ t = 8.9. These results are consistent with current spin and parity assignments to the nuclear states involved.
