Abstract
The multiwall carbon nanotube/poly(vinylidene fluoride) nanocomposites with a series of nano-clay and coupling agent were prepared. The effect of nano-clay and coupling agent on the electrical and mechanical properties of nanocomposites were studied and compared. The results showed that nano-clay and coupling agent could not only enhance the electrical conductivity and storage modulus but also reduce the percolation threshold of such nanocomposites. The dispersion of fillers, interaction between fillers and matrix, were studied as main factors.
