Abstract

With the deepening of the process of economic globalization and trade liberalization, the different links of global value chain can be distributed in the space.. China’s local industrial clusters, as a carrier of regional economic development, are rapidly embedded in global value chain in all kinds of ways. But for various reasons, China’s industrial clusters have been “locked in” the part of global value chain for a long time, and have been plunged into the dilemma of “race to bottom” and “the poverty” growth. The paper analyzes the incentives of low-end locking of China's industrial clusters in global value chain and proposes breakthrough measures.
