Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a developing domain in the current scenario. It has evolved over many areas of different fields of technology. Many studies have been conducted for the enrichment of this particular domain. Today, smart watches have the features to collect data related to the health of the person who wears it. So it is possible to make a health detection system. These features, like reduction in cost and wireless transmission of data, can both be implemented via this domain. The country also faced an issue with the availability of oxygen beds and ICU beds. This was one of the biggest issues at the time of epidemics. There is a shortage of medical equipment as well as the affordability of good meditation. So to mitigate these issues, we are coming up with the idea of a low-cost ICU bed in remote areas using LoRa. LoRa module helps in the transmission of health related data from an area having no internet facility to the receiver side. The doctor in charge can see this and instruct the patient if they need to take any sort of remedy or not. The designing and implementation of our new research work will put forward an efficient and low-cost health monitoring system in remote areas.
