Abstract
The Management and Treatment Services for Psychosis (MTSP), which is a core of China's community mental health services, has been integrated into the national Basic Public Health Service (BPHS) programme since 2009. The MTSP provides patient registration, regular follow-up assessment, and treatment to patients with severe mental disorders: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, delusional disorder, epilepsy with psychotic symptoms, and intellectual disability with psychotic symptoms.
