Abstract

This study investigates the sintering optimization and characterization of (K0.5,Na0.5)NbO3 (KNN) ceramics using spark plasma sintering (SPS) at low temperatures. The influence of sintering temperature on crystal structure, microstructure, and dielectric properties is explored. KNN ceramics were sintered as low as 400 °C and exhibit a relative permittivity (εr) of 740 and a low dissipation factor (tan(δ)) of 0.02 at room temperature. These findings highlight the potential of SPS-sintered KNN ceramics at low temperatures for applications requiring high permittivity and low dielectric losses.
