Abstract
The results of low temperature (1 to 20/sup 0/K) heat capacity measurements on some RM/sub 5/ phases, which are good hydrogen absorbers, and on some La/sub 3/S/sub 4/--La/sub 2/S/sub 3/ compounds are reported and discussed. Also included are some measurements on the superconducting LaS/sub 1/./sub 33/--LaS/sub 1/./sub 40/ phases.
