Abstract
Heat-capacity measurements on a single-crystal Cd${\mathrm{F}}_{2}$ have been made between 2 and 10 K. The results yield a Debye temperature of 332.0\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.0 K, in excellent agreement with that of 331.6\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.7 K calculated from elastic constants.
