Abstract

Magnetostrictionofhelicalanti ferromagnetsofthesystem Zn x Cd 1−x Cr 2 Se 4 is measured by means of film strain gauge spattered at the studied sample. It is shown that magnetostriction measurements are a convenient method of anti ferromagnetic domains dynamics investigations. The domains reorientation in helical anti ferromagnets is shown to occur by means of thermofluctuative creation of reversal centres. It is shown that an interaction between different regions of domain structure exists. The interaction is caused by the spontaneous magnetostriction distortions. The surface density of domain wall energy and crytical size of reversal centre are calculated from the experimental results.
