Abstract

Video images of a low-pressure dc glow discharge with an electrolytic cathode in the form of aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate NaHCO <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</sub> are presented in this paper. Various forms of the discharge are observed. One of the discharge forms-a dc glow discharge with a foam cathode-was recorded for the first time. A space-time diagram of the discharge is drawn.
