Abstract

Full-wave rectifiers and push-pull inverters are the best choice for high powers. This class E2 dc-dc converter combines resonant current-doubler (full-wave) rectifier and resonant push-pull inverter. Diode voltages and voltage slopes are ideally zero after turn-off. Transistor voltages and voltage slopes are ideally zero before turn-on. Most parasitic inductances and capacitances (but the transformer leakage inductances) are included in the converter topology.
