Abstract

The application of ARX structures in system identification theory to the establishment of low-order discrete-time transfer function models for free-convective magnetoelectrolytic systems is described. Transfer functions with three-pole/two-zero configurations offer the best compromise between mathematical complexity and closeness of approximation to experimental time-domain response.
