Abstract

We present results on the ϕ analysis in pp, p–Pb and Pb–Pb collisions at forward rapidity 2.5<y<4 with the ALICE muon spectrometer. The production cross-section of ϕ mesons is studied differentially, as a function of the transverse momentum (pT) in pp collisions at s=2.76 TeV and as a function of both pT and rapidity in p–Pb collisions sNN=5.02 TeV. Additionally, in p–Pb collisions we discuss the nuclear modification factor RpPb at both forward and backward rapidity. We also show the BRσϕ/(BRσρ+BRσω) ratio and the ϕ nuclear modification factor RAA measured in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN=2.76 TeV in the intermediate pT region 2<pT<5 GeV/c as a function of the collision centrality. Remarkable differences are observed in the comparison between the RAA at forward rapidity and the one measured in the same pT range at midrapidity in the hadronic decay channel ϕ→KK.
