Abstract
This paper demonstrated the magnetic and dielectric properties of NiZnCu ferrite–Ag co-fired ceramics. After sintered at 910°C, Ag fillers homogeneously dispersed in the dense ferrite matrix to enhance permittivity. The co-fired samples have high and equal values of permeability and permittivity within 3–30MHz, which endows them with advantages for antenna miniaturization, including good impedance matching (Z=1) to the free space, high refractive index of 23.2–26.8 and very low dielectric and magnetic loss (tanδε<0.005 and tanδμ<0.03).
