Abstract

The Low German dialects in Hesse are often little heeded – also in research. Following up on more recent studies, this article deals with the West- and Eastphalian dialects in Hesse. Dialect-intended Wenkersätze of 16 speakers (2013–2015) are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively with regard to 21 (phonetic-phonological) variation phenomena in 32 evidences. In addition to overarching stability, single, different changes can be determined.
