Abstract

A fully transistorized low frequency Gaussian noise generator is described. Output is continuously variable from 10 mV to 3 V rms. The spectrum is flat within 3 db with corner frequencies at 0·01 and 30 Hz and 33 db rejection at 50 Hz. Means for tape recording of noise samples have been incorporated. The instrument together with analog computer can be used for statistical analysis of nonlinear systems.
