Abstract

In this article, the frequency spectrum and relaxation processes for volume and surface waves are investigated in semibounded plasmas and thin films of plasma-like media in the presence and absence of spatial dispersion. In doing so, two models are considered: (1) The model with mirror reflection of charge carriers from the boundary surface of plasma medium; (2) The model of a thin plasma layer which is confined by a strong magnetic field.
