Abstract
Calculations of total cross sections for the scattering of low-energy electrons by ${\mathrm{Li}}_{2}$ have been performed in the fixed-nuclei approximation. These calculations employed a parameter-free model of the correlation-polarization interaction and an essentially exact treatment of the exchange.
