Abstract
Low energy electronic optical and excitation spectra of biphenyl, naphthalene and some methyl naphthalenes in cyclohexane solution are presented. It is shown that the primary radiation chemical yields g 0( E) of electronic transitions in this region computed either from optical or from excitation spectra agree within 5–8%.
