Abstract
Cross sections for three-α photodisintegration process of the12C nucleus are calculated by a Faddeev formalism, from which 0+- and 2+ low-lying resonant 12C states are studied. The triple-alpha reaction rate is evaluated from the calculated cross sections of the disintegration process.
