Abstract

Low dose aspirin (LDA) is recommended to prevent preeclampsia (PE) in women at high-risk, including those with chronic hypertension (CHTN). However, recent data has shown that LDA may not be as efficacious in women with CHTN. We sought to determine if LDA use among women with CHTN reduces the rate of superimposed PE or adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes.
