Abstract
With the sharp increase of the service data of national Smart Grid, the requirement of low time delay and high reliability of control information transmission is increasing. Thanks to the rapid development of chip technology, a Time Sensitive Network (TSN) based power network emerges at the right moment. It can provide transmission service with low time delay and low jitter in Ethernet network of smart substation. Through the analysis and verification of switches with TSN characteristics (supporting 802.1AS, 802.1QCI, 802.1QBV and 802.1QBU), this paper proposes a networking scheme that can be applied to the application scenarios of communication between the smart substation process layer and station control layer. It also provides a quick scheme to verify the networking for the Smart Grid equipment development involving low time delay and low jitter related technologies.
