Abstract

The system described consists of two separate glass cryostats: One is a traditional N2 shielded He cryostat, for temperatures below 4.2K; the other is a special gas-flow cryostat, for temperatures above 4.2K. With a simple regulating system, the temperature stability of the flow cryostat is 1K. The helium consumption is 0.2-0.31 h-1.
