Abstract

A case is presented of a patient with the chief complaint of low back pain, who subsequently was found to have lumbar metastatic angiosarcoma. This report emphasizes the need for a thorough medical evaluation in all instances of radicular low back pain. The characteristics of metastatic intramedullary spinal cord tumor are outlined.
