Abstract
The development of Team Room originated in a project to improve the performance and quality of work life at Lotus Development Corporation. It was begun by Jim Manzi, then President and CEO of Lotus. (Lotus Development is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the IBM Corporation. Further information on Lotus the company and on Lotus Notes is given in Chapter 1.)
