Abstract

This paper is a conceptual effort to bring together reflections by feminist and other translation theorists on the travels and translations of feminist theories in the Americas. It represents an attempt to explore issues concerning feminism, translation, and transnationalism in relation to building feminist alliances among different feminist constituencies not only across the North–South axis, but in other latitudinal and longitudinal directions as well.
