BCG Newsletter (vol 2 no 3 p. 39k - 5, 1930) Included a useful note about Hudleston's life and ornithological activities by Peter Davis. Barbara Pyrah of the Yorkshire Museum also contributes the following information about Hudleston's connection with that Museum. "He was of course born in York as Wilfrid Simpson, and educated here at St. Peter's, and although he resided in London he owned lands in Yorkshire, and was associated with the Yorkshire Naturalists Union.
